Patellar braces are used to prevent unwanted patellar deviation, usually to the lateral side. While there are many patellar braces out there, we typically use the dynatrack due to its proven track record with our patients. MedSpec has created a patented buttress design that applies steady pressure to the knee in any position. The Skinloc lining helps to keep it from moving and additional straps allow you to adjust the level of tension and the back of the knee is open to make it more comfortable. The low profile design is both comfortable and effective for athletics and everyday wear. The knee brace provides excellent patella stabilization and added medial/lateral support with the addition of semi-rigid thermoplastic hinges on the sides for enhanced joint protection. The flexible hinges mold to the shape of the knee.
